Bob had bought Jodie roses from the corner store bucket two days before Valentine's but like petals do, they died from the cold. After her accident, the wilted petals felt too close to home. So, two days after Valentine's Bob surprises Jodie with three bundles of flowers from the local Metro. The surprise took place in our Penthouse apartment and together they watched the sunset view.

Jodie and her future husband Bob had met earlier this week. Bob came over to make a special dinner for his new found love. Things so new, so fresh. He brings purple carnation flowers as a gift. They eat, they kiss, she smells the flowers and they fall in love.
